Use of was and were
Was और were का उपयोग हम कब करते है:
Was और were का उपयोग भूतकाल के लिए किया जाता है, हम past टेंस जैसे की Simple Past Tense और Past continuous tense में इनका उपयोग करते है।
सरल शब्दों में कहे तो भूतकाल की घटनाओ को बताने के लिए सहायक क्रिया के रूप में was और were का उपयोग किया जाता है।
जैसे: I was not there. (मै वहां नहीं था) इस वाक्य में was का उपयोग बीते हुए समय के बारे में बताने के लिए हुआ है।
Was और were का उपयोग हम किसके साथ करते है:
हम Was और were में was का उपयोग singular (एकवचन) और were का उपयोग plural (बहुवचन) के साथ किया जाता है:
